![]() I'm still working through a few of the Mutual fund stuff, but it looks quite good. For each of these I deleted the account in MD created a new account with the correct currency, exported that single account from Quicken and imported it back into MD & voila!ĭealing with a relatively small amount of information about 1 1/6 years worth allowed me to clean up things very quickly. Main currency Canadian $, 1 US $ and 8 UK £ accounts. My biggest issue was multi currency accounts. Took a couple of tries on 1 account test files till I got the date input format right (mine was mm/dd/yy). ![]() Next I file exported all information from this new file to a QIF and this was the file input to a new file set up in MD with minimal categories. Then copied (File Operations - Copy) all transactions from 1 to current to a new file. So I will keep H&B 2014 to access this file (it does contain transactions up to when you no longer enter any though). ![]() made sure accounts were reconciled (and in retrospect, I should have ensured that account opening balances weren't transactions posted back to the same account - as this complicates MD clean up a little). ![]() I cleaned up my data as much as possible e.g. I decided to make 1 my cutoff date for an "archived" quicken dataset. ![]()
